The Mississippi Firefighters Memorial Burn Association holds an annual Shop With the Doc event and finds sponsors for each child. The burn victims are given $150 gift cards where they are allowed to buy anything they want. The sponsors, as well as physicians and other representatives from the burn center, take the kids on a
fun shopping spree. Sparky the Fire Dog and Santa also visit this event. The kids are fed pizza and treats. This event is lots of fun! We certainly look forward to it every year!
